Chong Hoe has over 20 years of experience in Singapore taxation and international tax advisory. Prior to joining BDO, he has worked in Big Four and mid-tier accounting firms as well as MNCs in the electronic component and semiconductor industry.
Chong Hoe has advised Singapore companies and foreign multinationals in areas such as inbound and outbound investments, group rationalisation and reorganisation, divestments, profit repatriation, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, pre-IPO listing, permanent establishment issues, etc. He was also involved in merger and acquisition deals providing assistance on tax due diligence and advising on post-deal tax restructuring and integration, etc.
Chong Hoe has also assisted clients in liaising with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore on tax queries and advance rulings as well as with other government agencies on tax incentive applications.
His clients came from diverse sectors ranging from medical, logistics, environmental solution and consumer products to offshore equipment, industrial and aerospace products, etc.
