This highly interactive session will be led by our BDO Asia Pacific IFRS Leader, Wayne Basford and will cover overview of IFRS 9, key considerations for classification and measurement of financial instruments, the new expected credit losses and hedge accounting. What will be the accounting impact on for financial assets e.g. trade receivables, intercompany receivables and short term investments and financial liabilities etc. under the new FRS 109 / IFRS 9? Is it easier to apply hedge accounting under the new FRS 109/IFRS 9?
