Operating a company with executives, board members and employees who may share the same gene pool presents family-owned businesses with unique challenges. From succession planning to ownership, ‘family’ can add complexity to the decision-making process that requires careful considerations.
BDO Consultants and Maybank understand that family businesses are important drivers of Singapore’s economy, especially among Small, Medium enterprises (SMEs).
This seminar will address some of the issues faced by family businesses, focusing on the challenges of generational life cycles and how family business can innovate long-term success. The talk will focus on how to manage risks while balancing growth considerations, protecting what matters to you the most.
